   I have been going to Boots & Saddle since I first discovered it in 1979, and it was my favorite bar when I lived in Manhattan from 1985-1990 & 1995-1997.
   I got to visit it several times this past weekend for Pride Weekend, and although there were many changes, it still had that same wonderful, friendly atmosphere it always had. Ron, the owner, remembered my face, and we got to chat a long time about the old days and people then, as well as why he’s made it what it is now, and he introduced me to Robert, the manager. It’s still a wonderful place that I’ll visit every time I’m in NYC. I only wish the wonderful people I was friends with from the old days who aren’t with us anymore were still around. Keep up the great times, Ron and Robert! (And the bartenders, performers, and other staff, too!)

   Just a message to say how much my partner and I enjoyed our visits to the Boots & Saddle. We spent a week in NYC (returning yesterday back to the UK) and we visited the B&S four times during our stay. Everyone was so friendly and made us feel so very welcome. It was my partner Jorge’s birthday (hence the visit to NYC) and the welcome we received from the whole team made the trip, and our memories of it, even more special. We would especially like to thank Victoria Chase – such an amazing and fabulous host and entertainer with an amazing voice too! Thank you Victoria and thank you Boots & Saddle! We will be back!
